As the new school year begins, technology is at the center of how youth learn, connect, and communicate. Social media, gaming, messaging apps, artificial intelligence, and online communities create opportunities for connection and self-expression. They can also present challenges that caregivers and professionals may not always feel prepared to navigate.

To help families and professionals better understand today's digital landscape, SAFY is hosting Teaching Digital Safety, Empathy & Mindfulness with Richard Guerry.

Richard Guerry is the founder of the Institute for Responsible Online and Cell-Phone Communication (IROC2) and an award-winning digital safety educator. For more than a decade, he has delivered thousands of presentations to students, parents, educators, and community organizations focused on safe technology use, digital responsibility, and online behavior.

During this training, participants will learn about:
