How We Work

Led by our Clinical Innovations & Technology (CIT) team, SAFY integrates positive behavioral health for youth into every aspect of care. As a core component of our programming, we deliver therapeutic foster care services and family supportive services that combine clinical expertise with compassionate, family-centered support.

Our team provides behavioral health services that are trauma-informed and tailored to the unique experiences of youth and their caregivers. Through individualized care plans, we help youth build emotional resilience while supporting families in creating stable, nurturing environments.

Our Impact

Through our team of clinical experts, SAFY delivers services with integrated behavioral health support  focusing on trauma‑informed care, family preservation, and reunification, whenever possible. By combining innovation with proven therapeutic approaches, our behavioral health services empower youth and families to overcome challenges and achieve sustainable outcomes.

Based on SAFY’s Satisfaction Survey results:

  • 96% of caregivers were satisfied with the behavioral health services they received

  • 97% of caregivers felt more positive about their family’s future after receiving mental health services

  • 97% feel their family’s beliefs and values were respected throughout treatment

What We Offer

SAFY's behavioral health services meet people where they are - at home, in the community, and in moments of crisis. We offer a range of in-home services with a behavioral health focus, giving flexibility in how and where families access care.

In Colorado, our mobile crisis services provide real-time mental health responses for individuals and families who need support right now. Outpatient services are available in Nevada and Ohio for those who benefit from structured, ongoing care in an office setting. Depending on the state, we also provide therapeutic, treatment, and intensive foster care, along with kinship support.  All specialized pathways designed for children and youth with complex needs and the families who care for them.
