SAFY Announces Appointment of Brian Mathias to Board of Directors

[Delphos, Ohio] – Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth of America, Inc. (SAFY) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Mathias to its Board of Directors. Mr. Mathias brings over twenty years of experience in the utilities sector, specializing in evaluating, designing, and implementing work management systems to enhance productivity, system reliability, customer satisfaction, and safety.

As a resident of South Carolina, Mr. Mathias currently serves as a Managing Director within Accenture’s Utilities Practice, where he has led numerous projects across various utilities, including Transmission and Distribution. His expertise spans initial project definition, business process design, functional design, build and test, and deployment.

Mr. Mathias's extensive experience and leadership will benefit SAFY as we innovate and enhance our services. His expertise in managing complex projects and driving organizational success will contribute significantly to our mission of providing high-quality services to youth and families. We are confident that his strategic vision and dedication will help us achieve our goals and positively impact the communities we serve.

With over two decades of experience in the human service sector, Kristy is driven by a deep passion for creating lasting social impact. Her expertise in program development, communications, and grant acquisition has enabled programs to scale and have a more profound effect on our communities. Kristy holds a unique perspective having worked at all levels of the child welfare field from direct service provision, marketing, development, and leading programs providing a strong knowledge of the issues facing the field. As the Communications Director for SAFY of America, she firmly believes engaging and inspiring storytelling is at the heart of meaningful change and strives to offer transformative work for the youth and families served.
