Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth is a not for profit treatment foster care agency serving more than 1,000 children and their families in eight states. With a long history of finding homes for children who have been traditionally difficult to place, SAFY is one of the nation's leading foster care organizations. Headquartered in Delphos, Ohio, SAFY's professional staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of our communities' children by offering programs and services tailored to their unique needs.
SAFY's foster children come from all walks of life, backgrounds and races. Many have been abused or neglected but all need stable loving homes to help them reach their full potential.
We witness, on a daily basis, what life is like for a child who doesn't have a permanent home - the feelings of abandonment and despair become overwhelming and many children even stop dreaming of a bright future.
