Take Time to Give Back and Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

As we prepare for another successful year of preserving families and securing futures, we celebrate the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, commemorating Dr. King’s great dream of a vibrant, multiracial nation united in justice, peace and reconciliation. We celebrate the life and legacy of a man who brought hope and healing for America.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others?” At SAFY, we celebrate the values of equality, tolerance and interracial sister and brotherhood he so compellingly expressed in his great dream for America. We believe when we live our Mission of Preserving Families and Securing Futures, we serve families and children with the vibrant spirit of unconditional love that was his greatest strength, and which empowered all of the great victories of his leadership.

Let us not only reflect and take time on Monday to celebrate Dr. King, but every day. Be a difference maker this year. Consider becoming a foster parent at SAFY or supporting our efforts so that families and youth can have bright, safe and secure futures. May your hearts be open to this spirit of unconditional love year-round.

SAFY looks forward to a bright year and continuing our mission to preserve families and secure futures. To learn more about SAFY, contact us today!
