Independent Living Program
Each year, a large number of young people “age out” of the foster care system without the necessary skills to support themselves.
SAFY’s independent living program is designed to help youth become self-sufficient adults.
SAFY’s independent living program serves foster youth, ages 16 and up. This program is designed for youth who want to make the most of their lives.
Youth learn the necessary skills to live on their own, such as financial management, career/educational planning, tax preparation, budgeting and other life skills.
SAFY strives to make the transition into adulthood as smooth as possible.
