Christi Wright, MA LPC LPC/S CACII was named the South Carolina State Director for Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth (SAFY) in 2015. She is responsible for the care and treatment of families and their children throughout the state, and manages the fiscal and contractual viability of all SAFY of South Carolina programs and services. Christi oversees clinical and business operations advancing the organization’s integrated system of care and evidence-based practices.
Christi joined SAFY in 2013 as a Treatment Director where she was responsible for the quality of client care. She established financial and development goals and networked to maintain and grow the provision of services within the community.
Prior to joining SAFY, Christi served as a Clinical Counselor with The Charleston Center, where she supervised all clinical services including inpatient and outpatient programs.
Christi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University.
