SAFY names Stacy Bruce Vice President of Operations
(Delphos, OHIO) -- Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth (SAFY) is pleased to announce it has named Ms. Stacy Bruce its Vice President of Operations. In this position, Bruce is responsible for the implementation and coordination of operational policies and programs enabling the organization to provide multi-site continuum of care services in the child welfare youth services industry. She will ensure a continued focus on improving operations, quality improvement, and business development throughout the organization. Stacy will handle the oversight for Texas, Oklahoma, Nevada, South Carolina and Alabama.
Bruce previously served as Chief Executive Officer at the Caring Family Network in Texas, a private nonprofit foster care and adoption agency providing therapeutic services to 400 youth. While there, she managed a $7 million budget, supervising all programs and operations. Before her appointment as CEO, she served as an administrator at the organization, overseeing the acquisition of branches of operation and managing contracted employees. She supervised all licensing and regulatory issues, and was responsible for recruiting, training and retaining quality foster parents.
Bruce most recently served as the Regional Director at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Texas. While there, she was responsible for organizational leadership and management of operations throughout the state, providing focus, strategy and vision in achieving agency goals. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Alliance of Child and Family Services.
